San Blas Islands, Panama

Our first real cruise took us to a group of islands off the coast of Panama called the San Blas Islands which are cared for by the Kuna. The Kuna own this land, where their culture remains steadfast despite the growth and increased attention to the area. We were greeted by Kuna in dug out canoes selling the traditional Molas, bracelets, fruits and fish. We also met beautiful people who will be lifelong friends.
